CAMPING GLOW

CAMPING GLOW  is an ongoing investigation into how the body becomes a thing and how things become bodies and their shared agengy.

The visual and the performative trangress one another, inhabit the space.

I use the “camp” to display a new sensitivity that is generated in the continuous present  (-ing). At the threshold of the present, the desire to mobilize the perception of immobility of the objects and the reverse movement of interrupting the continuity of the development of the action will come together to explore the friction amongst  body and things. 

Staying on the surface in order to understand the body in depth. I understand CAMPING GLOW as a space susceptible to the power of things, their vitality and their ability to affect and affect us. In other words, the body and the thing  aren’t a sign to interpret but as a slip towards non-meaning, towards affection. Posing the human being -my body- with non-human -objects, materials, etc-. to experiment with a shared space of agency .

CAMPING GLOW és una investigació  en procés al voltant de com el cos es converteix en cosa i com les coses es converteixen en cossos. Quines agències es possibiliten des d’aquest desplaçament/posicionament? Quina materialitat habita l’espai, quina és la transgressió? On s’ubica i com transforma? Utilitzo allò “camp”, per desplegar una nova sensibilitat que s’auto genera en present continu (-ing). En el llindar del present confluirà el desig de mobilitzar la percepció d’immobilitat dels objectes i el moviment invers d’interrupció de la continuïtat del devenir de l’acció per tal de detectar des de la diferència i la fricció del moviment i no moviment del cos / de les coses. M’interessa fer present el present.

Quedar-me en la superfície per tal d’entendre el cos en profunditat. Entenc CAMPING GLOW com un espai on ser susceptibles al poder de les coses, a la seva vitalitat i a la seva capacitat d’afectar-se i afectar-nos.

És a dir, el cos / la cosa no com a un signe per a interpretar sinó com una escletxa cap a la no significació, cap a l’afecte. Posant al mateix nivell allò humà -el meu cos- amb allò no humà -objectes, materials, etc- i experimentant amb generar un espai d’agència compartida.
